Our one of a kind approach combining a personally designed gym based strength and fitness program with an instructed 30 minute group exercise class by one of our University Accredited Exercise Physiologists.

Please note medical clearance from your GP is required.

How do I get involved?

Firstly you need to get a medical clearance from your GP after requesting that you are interested in getting involved in our Tier 1 Strength for Life (you may need to mention it used to be called Living Longer Living Stronger) program down here at Coogee Beach Fitness Club. Tier 1 means we also cater to clinical presentations.

From there we will book you in for your 60 minute initial consultation with one of our Exercise Physiologists.

The initial consultation involves:

  • Review of your clinical history

  • A little bit of testing (if required) of a few factors involved in your physical health

  • Introduction to all of our equipment and how to use them safely.

If you require additional time or have more intricate needs, this will be discussed with your Exercise Physiologist.

The cost for this is $85 as a one off.

Getting into the classes

Following your initial consultation, you will be able to get involved in any of our SFL classes which are hosted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with three half an hour slots being 7.45-8.15am, 8.15-8.45am and 8.45-9.15am. These classes are hosted by an Exercise Physiologist and are more fun and interactive with a group of amazing people. Around your class time is when you would do your own personal in-gym program.
